In order to qualify for grants available only to non-profit groups I have joined a service organization for artists called the Field. In addition to giving me access to more potential opportunities, I am able to accept tax-deductible contributions through this association. I pay an annual membership fee, but otherwise 100% of each contribution is funneled through to me.
